Our privacy policy is very simple:
Short of a court order demanding the release of your information, your privacy is 100% assured.
We ask for your e-mail address so we can quickly and easily communicate with you if there are any questions about your order. Our system is set up to e-mail you an acknowledgment when your order is received, as well as when your finished video is published. We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your e-mail address to third parties. Under no circumstances do we bombard your e-mail account with unwanted advertisements.
We will send you a weekly email to confirm the status of your listings with HouseFLIX. This is your opportunity to change the price, terms, or other seller concessions being offered as well as delisting homes that have sold.
When you order from us, we ask for a daytime phone number so we can contact you if there are any questions or problems concerning your order. Your daytime phone number is also important for shipping your DVD’s. The phone number you provide is given to the shipper (UPS, FedEx, or USPS) for that express purpose. Under no circumstances will we make unwanted marketing calls to your home or business. We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your telephone number to third parties.
Your billing and shipping address is maintained at HouseFLIX as part of your customer profile. We do not sell, share, or otherwise disclose your address to third parties except as necessary to ship DVD’s and other items you order.
When you place an order with us online, your credit card information is transmitted through a state-of-the-art secure server. HouseFLIX owns its own SSL Secure Certificate. You will see the URL say https://houseflix.com/... in your browser’s address window when in secure mode for credit card processing. Your credit card information is not stored in our system or as part of your profile. The card information is encrypted and sent to a secure payment gateway for authorization and processing.
When you order by phone, the phone is answered at our private sales office. A HouseFLIX representative will only ask for information directly related to your account or a particular transaction.
When you place an order with us online, your IP Address is logged as part of the transaction. This is the computer address from which your order was entered. We use this information if credit card fraud is suspected. This IP address helps authorities trace the person who may have used a stolen credit card. We prosecute payment fraud to the fullest extent of the law.
If you have questions about privacy issues which are not covered here please contact us at (888) 321-FLIX.
Thank you for your business,
The HouseFLIX.com Management Team
